We had a fun weekend welcoming Elder Alex Whittier back from his 2-year mission to Uruguay. The fun began on Friday with Ashlyn and myself driving across the state to Idaho Falls... it was the same weekend as District wrestling here so Collin wasn't able to come until Sunday. We had a good drive and it was fun to see all our siblings as we arrived together to get ready to meet Alex at the airport!

| Ashlyn was kind of at the end of her rope by the time it was her turn to hug Alex. As a last resort to keep from a complete tantrum I had given her my phone to play with.... as you can see she was a little more interested in it than Alex! Sorry Alex. That's what technology has advanced to while you were gone. |
We had a fun meal all at home together (including Grandma and Charles who came from Denver as well) that night, and enjoyed hanging out together. Well, Andrea was not being very nice to me so I can't say I loved spending that time with her...... ... but it was fun having all 7 of us kids together again for the first time in 2 years... and then 2 years before that, since another brother, Cory, returned from his mission for a very short time before Alex left. More about that weekend soon!
