Fitness Challenge Update #1

POINTS POSSIBLE: 24
POINTS EARNED: 22
CHALLENGE POINTS EARNED: 6 (continues for another week)
WEIGHT LOST: 3.3 lbs! (Tara will hate me posting this but it's part of my goal over the next couple months so deal! Don't worry, I am still Body Positive! :)

MY THOUGHTS:
BOOM! I thought I did SO good this week! Buuuutttt.... 2 people did even better than me! Dang. But congrats to them. (Andrea and Megan!) I wasn't even actually focusing on the points so much this week as just trying to get my ducks in a row to start eating healthier and keeping track of all the stuff we are measuring. I am actually in this to try to lose a few pounds that I have stealthily put on over the past few months; I am not surprised I did because I basically ate my way through my own personal sugar cookie village over the holidays. Yuck. I really was bad about what I ate. And then I completely stopped working out for a month around the end of wrestling season, which always seems to happen, it even did back when I didn't have a kid to work my exercise around.

The only thing I missed points on was 2 days of working out. I don't know if I am ever going to be at the point of getting all 6 points a week for working out, 6 days a week just does not seem possible to me, but I can probably get away with 5. I will keep trying! I am also trying to hit a specific calorie goal (in general) each day, and I felt like that was kind of my main focus that day. I have done that before in times I need to lose a couple of pounds and generally it works well for me, but it's also always a learning curve getting into the habit of choosing the healthiest snacks and meals that fill me up but aren't super loaded with fat and calories.

Here we go with week 2!
