One of the only things that helps me through having to come back early from Thanksgiving is knowing I have boxes of Christmas decorations to set up when I get home! I have always been a fan of decorating since I used to boss around my mom on where to put the decorations when I was younger! So that is what I spent a good part of Saturday doing. 
A couple of crappy pictures for your viewing pleasure . . .
Collin and I spent like 4 hours shopping on Saturday. shocker, I know! But let me explain--it was no ordinary shopping. We decided that instead of getting each other a bunch of crap for Christmas, we'd rather just use the money to get something we both really want (and honestly, need!): a new bed! yahoo! We're not getting a new mattess set (yet), but just a frame. Really, anything is an upgrade from the metal frame on cinder blocks we currently have!
So, I have always had a specific picture of the bed I want in my head, and we visited pretty much every furniture store in the area, along with checking out a craigslist ad. We did finally find one I think we're going to get at Mor (start singing the song now if you know it--"Mor furniture for less at Mor! At Mor, there's more! Than you've ever seen before! More than any other store . . . " it goes on, you know you're singing along!)
We haven't bought it yet but I'm excited! I got a fab new bed set on Black Friday too! Don't worry, I will definitely post the before/after pictures. And THAT is what we did the rest of Thanksgiving weekend. Oh, and we finally tried FLYING PIE! love that place. Will definitely be returning.
