Harry Potter Withdrawals

I am so sad! I finished the last Harry Potter book on Friday. *sniff sniff* My awesome cousin Wendi gave me her extra set of the books (minus the 2 I already had) last summer, and in August I started in on them! I've read them before but not for quite a few years. I really didn't remember much so it was a blast reading them again.
But I am SAD that I'm finished!! I started reading them in August, so it has been 3 months solid I've been kept company by Harry, Ron and Hermione!! I seriously miss those guys! (I know: major dork alert.) I guess all I have to look forward to now is the 2 movies for Book 7 to come out. sad!
So if anyone has any good book suggestions, PLEASE! I need something new to read but it has to be good! I'm coming off Harry Potter here! I'm currently re-reading Eclipse, so someone help me out!!!

I'm crying here in Logan with you.

But remember, go get the the book "The Lovely Bones". It starts out a little slow, but really picks up and is really good!

i was so sad, too, when i finished. i know exactly how you feel. i also just finished rereading the whole twilight series for the third time, so i know the impending doom of nothing good to read that awaits. a few of my faves that i can read over and over: Eragon, Eldest and Brisingr by Christopher Paolini. It's a elf, dragon, dwarf and human series with magic and wizards and all that. I will totally let you borrow mine if you don't want to buy them. I know we've never met, but I hate buying books that suck, so I wouldn't think it was weird at all if you took me up on my offer because you didn't want to risk it. I also love The BFG, Matilda and The Witches by Roald Dahl. And you can't be the Tales of Narnia. The Silver Kiss by Annette Curtis Klause was my first vamp book and one i still love dearly. If you want a non-fantasy book, A Lotus Grows in the Mud by Goldie Hawn is one of my all time faves. The Children of the Promise is also a series i really liked, but i haven't read past book 5 yet. Happy reading and Happy Holidays! (and seriously, if you want to borrow any, I'm on Facebook, so just get me there or email me).

Isn't that the way it is with all good books? Especially with series. After Twilight I was have Vampire withdrawls, so I ended up watching all episodes of Buffy and Angel!
