Christmas Break in IF

We were able to head over to IF for a couple of days right when Christmas Break started. It was fun to go visit with my family. I was absolutely awful about taking pictures while we were there, so this is all you get! I was busy working on Collin's Christmas present for a lot of the time, and got lots of help from my Grandma, sisters, and Mom. But besides that we did a lot of shopping and relaxing... basically my 2 favorite things! :) One night we were all sitting in the front room visiting with our old next-door neighbor, Cindy, and Collin and Alex came up with a genius game (sarcasm here) of Who-can-throw-the-little-wad-of-tissue-paper-the-hardest-and-knock-over-a-big-cardboard-box. Sounds great huh. But if you know my husband he is so ridiculously competitive he sat there for a good 20 minutes trying to knock over the box. He finally did! Wow you should have seen the joy in his eyes. (eye roll!!!) But for some reason I must have had my camera with me because I took pictures of this. ????

Alex, being the Student body president at good old IF this year, was frantically trying to get his school to win the "Souper Bowl"--which is a big competition between IF and Skyline of who can get the most cans of food donated. I don't remember them doing this when I went there, or if they did I certainly didn't help out! he he.

Anyway, the main thing is that the losing school's punishment is that their S.B. president gets a pie in the face at halftime of a bb game. Sadly, IF lost.... so me and my sisters went to the game to see Alex get pied! It was great. But sitting through a girls bb game.... not great.

Aw, remember this gym? I don't think I've been in there for 7 years. Still looks the same. Way to go with the pie, Alex!


So, not to be bored, (since the game was not too interesting and Mom made us stay for most of it) Tara and I entertained ourselves doing what we do best, taking ugly pictures of ourselves. This was my favorite.
