March update! Lots of trips. Between the 1st week of February and the last week of March I was never home more than 7 days at a time.
Grace and Ashlyn--these cousins love TV just a little.
Add in another cousin for more TV fun! ha ha.
After one of our trips--this is RARE. You know she was having a really good time with cousins to cause this!
Gotta keep taking hairstyle pictures
Maiden voyage with both kids on my own. Went well!
Fun with Dad in the backyard
Collin and Ashlyn took a trip to Pocatello to watch Scott and Aiden wrestle. She is in HEAVEN with these boys and they are wonderful with her. Lucky girl to have such great cousins.
Collin sent me this picture and said she had said "I like to be on the top." Can you imagine the huge grin Collin must have had when she said that! ha ha.
I took Elan over to Boise for a day when my amazing Boise buddies threw me and Elan a baby shower. It was SO great and just what I needed to get to see so many good friends and familiar faces. Not to mention Chandra and Cheryl throw AMAZING parties and between the food and getting presents...it was pretty awesome. Love these girls and miss them so much.
Shower decor & food (she went with "tribal hipster," ha ha ha)
Collin took a 5-day trip to St. Louis with Morgan, Brock, Jim, and a few of Morgan's kids for the NCAA Wrestling championships. I had originally encouraged him to go (way before things got so crazy in Feb-March) because really, he has had a huge changed, really tough year with his new job. I knew it would be something good to look forward to. However, leaving me at home with 2 kids in such an emotionally unstable state....well you can imagine. I tried to still be supportive, let's say that! I really am glad he went. It was just tiring and when his last flight home got delayed I was at the end of my rope.
Darby made history by being the first girl to go on this trip! Later she told me yeah, probably not something she'd do again. ha ha ha. :)
These adorable kids. Absolutely kill me.
We made a trip to Utah during spring break. First night Collin stayed (with both kids!!) at Morgan's while I partied it up with Tara. We shopped at a big consignment sale and ate at our favorite bakery the next day.... just the little escape I needed. Then we headed to Nana's for a couple days that went by too quick!
Nana took us to the museum of natural history at Thanksgiving point. Ash wasn't big into the dinosaur bones but playing in sand and water was by far her favorite!
She wrote this ALL by herself! Can you say proud mama! I told her what letters came next, but that writing is all her. Yea!
We had our caseworker come for our first home visits. I busted bum to get Elan's nursery all ready, to make a good first impression I guess! I really like how it turned out.
Someone had to photobomb..... I think this looks kinda like the big foot picture?!
This is the best. My family has already seen it, it had to be posted immediately! Lucy just checkin' her email.
Another rare moment of this one sleeping during daylight hours! She apparently went "camping" and fell right asleep in there. Love it.
