This is where I keep all our family pictures, and there are already so many for this month I'm splitting it up!
My attempt at getting some pictures of the kids in their Easter outfits in 5 minutes before we had to leave for church..... also it's worth noting I'm on my own getting them and myself ready and out the door in the mornings for 9:00 church since Collin is at bishopric meetings. :) Hence no great pictures!!
He was amused by her for a few minutes....
Then it got real.
I love that adoring stare he always gives her. Thanks Grandma for the adorable dress for Ashlyn! Elan's outfit was a gift from a friend in our ward, Cynthia, as well!
First trip to Gooding since December!! Elan's first ever!
Ashlyn started piano lessons! She's been begging for about a year and a half. She was SO, SO excited. I insisted that we do it after dinner and she ate her dinner so fast! It is so weird and also fun teaching my own kid. I hope it keeps going well.
Loves this bike! I actually took this picture to document that that shirt she's wearing, I bought in the Girls section. Not toddler section! She is about grown out of toddler sizes, and size XS fits her great! SAD! I was actually really sad about that!!!!
Just another day in paradise
Whenever she puts on this outfit she insists on a photo shoot.... and then wants to look at the pictures for like 20 minutes. Also, note the socks. We have this book, "It's OK to Make Mistakes" and one pages says something like "It's ok to wear mismatched socks." And now she thinks that's super awesome!
This is a small sampling of all these pictures, by the way.
I'm just going to admit this--there was a week (recently) that we had fast food for lunch I think every day but one. I just did not have the energy or motivation. Don't worry we still had fruit and salads and stuff. But Wendy's was popular for us that week. (limited options here in Jerome!) This is Ashlyn showing me how she can drink both her milk and frosty at the same time.
EXCITING NEWS! Jodee came home from her mission! We were so excited to see her. Ashlyn actually seems to remember her! Or else I've talked about her enough while she's been gone that she thinks she remembers her. Either way it was so great to see her again.
She is the baby whisperer and Elan loved her just like all the other have.
While in IF for Jodee's celebrations we went dress shopping for prom (yeah, I guess they finally call "commencement" PROM at IF now?!) with Andrea! Fun girls time. She didn't get this dress by the way.
We also went to the Idaho Falls zoo! I am already missing having a local zoo a TON. It was really fun.
I think this is one of those pictures they should reenact when they're 18.
Me and my bebe
Attempt at a family picture.... yep that's about right
WUV my sister
Ashlyn usually feeds Lucy these days! Someday I plan to make it her official chore but for now she thinks it's fun!
Those eyes...
Saturday morning in Idaho Falls we had a little tree-planting ceremony for the tree the city donated and offered to have planted in memory of my dad. I still wish this was all a bad dream but since it's not it's nice that he has had so many ways to preserve good memories and honor him.
And here are the 3 little cousins that will be buddies! Paisley is 5 months old, and Benton is just 2 weeks older than Elan (2 months) in this picture! I think Elan is going to catch up to her size quick! They are so so dang cute I love this. I definitely think a big reason Elan waited to come to our family until now was so he could be the same age as Benton.
We have spent a lot of time at Target lately..... not much else to do around here when the weather's still too windy or cold. We got some new glasses for Ash and she of course had quite a few nice poses for me.
Just for fun! He looks SO huge in the 2 month picture! So funny.
