Last weekend

So, Collin went to Fargo for about 10 days and I was home alone again. Never fear, I had some good company:

Heck to the YES! To prepare for going to the latest H P movie, I borrowed these from Amber, and watched one every single night! It was really fun! Me and my bad self, eating popcorn and spending some good time with Ron, Harry, and Hermione. And by Saturday I was all ready for . . .

Yay! Tara, Jodee, Alex and I all went. It was Jodee and Alex's second time, which says a lot since neither of them are die-hard Harry Potter fans anyway.

I'm not either . . . but yes, look what I was wearing. Hot huh. I am so not a "Harry Potter" shirt kind of girl, but Tara convinced me to get one, and I admit, after I had watched movie after movie all week, I felt more like a Harry Potter dork than usual. Tara is the die-hard fan. Jodee... wouldn't stop covering up her shirt except for in this picture.

My favorite quote from the weekend:
Tara: "Hey, this is a good investment. It was like 20 bucks!" (talking of the RON shirt)
Jodee: "20 bucks! You could get a nice shirt for that!"
Tara: "This IS a nice shirt!"

Sorry Tara . . . I agree with Jodee on this one! But it was fun to wear a Harry Potter shirt all day. And I will be SO cool at camp next week with it.

Friday afternoon Ellen came to visit me--with her adorable little Kaitlynn, who is about 1 month old! What a cutie. It was so fun to spend some time with my old roommate and her sweet little baby. Yes, I am a dork and totally forgot to take a picture. Ellen is also an amazing artist, and had a set of paintings for me! I have always razzed her about how I want an Ellen original to hang in my house, and now I got some great ones!!

Friday night I got to meet up with the girls at Johnny Carino's--Kaylin, Natalie, Shelby and Lyssa. It was so fun to all get together and have some fabulous Italian and catch up. I'm glad we still keep in touch, here it is 7 years after we graduated!
Then Kaylin, Lyss and I went to The Proposal! Great! It was so funny. Best chick flick I have seen in a while. That is one I think I will be buying when it's on DVD.

There was more that happened over the weekend . . . like another movie night with Grandma, Aunt Lise, Aunt Jamee, and Aunt Melanie . . . ANOTHER movie night with the fam--watching my new favorite, Kit Kitteridge or whatever it was called . . . (we can speak HOBO now!!) I ran the IF greenbelt . . . And of course there was plenty of good food! Thanks for having me, fam! I was glad to come spend the weekend with you!

Just so you KNOW. . . I love my new Ron shirt. BEST INVESTMENT EVER. This was a funny post, by the way. I laughed a lot, which usually doesn't happen very often when I read your blog. ;) HAHAHA.
