Birthday Fun

I had the best birthday ever! When I ignored the fact that I was turning 25! Man, now it is downhill to 30! oh well. I'm just catching up to the grandpa I'm married to. :)

Anyway, it really was the perfect day! I got to sleep in . . . while Collin mowed the lawn and watered the garden! (the best husband ever... I may say that a few times in this post)

Then it was off to Roaring Springs where we joined up with the 75 wrestlers Collin was in charge of for his camp this past week. We didn't really spend much time with the wrestlers... although for a while things were pretty crazy in their game of tag in the lazy river!

We stayed at the park until about 5:00, then headed home to get ready for . . .

The Snake River Stampede! yahoo! I haven't been to a rodeo since Collin and I first had started dating, back in like 2004. It was SOO fun! Neither of us got all decked out in our cowboy gear (believe me, we have it!!) But I did rock the hat! yee haw!!! Half the fun of these things is people watching all those dang cowboys. Man, are they for real?!

Even though Collin had an insanely busy day, and still tons more to do after we got home, he had gotten me a birthday cake! It was waiting for us when we got home at like 11:00. What a sweetie! And it was delish! Collin still had to run some stuff to another coach's house, plus we had to unload some extras we inherited from the camp... and he had to pack for Fargo so we didn't get to bed until laate. Then had to get up to take him to the airport at 6:00 this morning.... sniff sniff. But my birthday was so wonderful, since I got to spend it with my favorite person. Thanks Collin, I love you!!

Thanks also all my fabulous family and friends... you guys are so nice and I felt very loved getting phone calls, texts, cards and more all day. I am the luckiest girl to have such great friends and family!!
