The 4th of July went by too fast! I love this holiday and it has many many traditions for my family. I have great memories of sleepovers, movies, dam-sliding, picnics, BBQs, fireworks, walking the greenbelt, and more with my cousins through the years. Now that most of us (or at least the majority of us) are married and most of the married people have kids, it's changed a little, but it was still so fun to see everyone and catch up. We realized that this is the most of us cousins we've had together for a few years, and only 2 were missing out of all like 40 of us.
Watching the parade with Tara--gotta love the IF parade!!
Grandma and Collin
Yay Alex! My little bro is the Student Body President at IF next year... crazy. It was fun to cheer for him!
Andrea was also in the parade--clogging! Love it!
Okay, this was Collin's favorite, I had nothing to do with it. It is some chiropractor or dentist and his family was dressed up as the Incredibles. The funny thing was that he looks like Mr. Incredible before he got into shape!
Collin & Sam went for a trail ride that afternoon while we women cooked and slept! The best part is Collin's bandanna. Hello 1985.
Traditional volley ball game in Grandma's backyard. Thankfully no one forced me to play this year. I think after all these years they've finally realized they're way better off without me out there!!
Andrea, Jodee and me :)
Of course it isn't the 4th of July without all of us having to pose for a family picture for Grandma. I laughed because our family is pretty small.
Getting ready for the fireworks! My grandma lives right on the river so we always have a perfect view!
First ones! (it got much fancier than this!)
Collin ended up having a lot of fun playing with a couple of my cousins' adorable kids-Carter and Brayden. Every time we tried to take a picture Carter was quicker to hide under the blanket. These are just a couple of my cousins' many adorable kids I was able to meet/ see again! It was great! Happy 4th!

Yaaaaaay for the 4th! Is it just me or did it seem really short lived this time around? I swear when we were younger we really did have like a whole week with all of our cousins. . .
