Girls Trip to Denver

Me and my wonderful sisters took a girls weekend trip to visit Denver! I have only been back to Denver probably twice in the last 10 years, which is sad! I'm so glad we went. It was my birthday weekend and that was so fun to partay sister-style for my big 3-1 day.

We all met up at the SLC airport and flew over together....although I mostly ignored everyone because I was finishing up my book, ha ha.

We spent my birthday at Water World! The Disneyland of water parks, that's for sure. We hit up a ton of stuff and the park cleared out around 3:00 due to a short little thunderstorm, so we then got to do a ton more stuff because there were hardly lines! Such a fun place, I look forward to taking my own kids there sometime.

Me and my wonderful grandma. She spoiled us so much. All our meals bought and/or cooked for us, a yummy icecream cake for my birthday, tickets to Water World and also treated us to a dinner theater show of Mary Poppins. Not to mention the fun it is just chatting with Grandma, and of course playing Yahtzee, tradition!!!

The "extra" girl here is our cousin Kendra! We missed seeing her sister Karysa while we were there, but got to see both my Uncle Todd and Aunt Kristin, man it has been a while since I saw my Colorado family! It was so fun. A nice little break (although my mind was kind of spinning since I knew we were moving the day I got back), and we definitely did some good laughing, chatting, and relaxing. Love my sisters and my fam, that's for sure.
