We finally had a big snow storm last week. I am not one to miss snow--at all-- but this year it was a little depressing to see nothing but brown, dead grass, all the time. Especially during Christmas time. Plus, I finally really learned to snowboard last winter, and I am dying to go! Our local ski resort just opened, the day after this big storm! sad!
Ashlyn loved to stare out the window at the snow. I brought her right out to the big window first thing in the morning and she stood there for like 20 minutes just looking out and jabbering about it. It was so cute. Then we had a good time watching Lucy go out and run around--the snow was as deep as Lucy's legs are tall so she was doing this weird little leaping run, it was hilarious.

THIS!
I took this picture looking out of Ashlyn's room's window. No, neither Collin or I had gone outside in the backyard AT ALL since it had snowed! I had a little freak out! Who the freaking heck's footprints were all over my backyard, by my baby's window???? Luckily they were kid size footprints. I figure it was our neighbors behind us, they have kids and I'm guessing they threw a ball over the fence or just wanted to tramp down some fresh snow. Whatev. If it was adult sized I would have been calling 911 right then!! eek!
