Camp! Part Two

So Collin and I were at Camp Oasis last week--it was an amazing week. Amazing in the facts that:

1) Collin and I saw each other for a total of probably 30 minutes combined throughout all 7 days
2) I wasn't dead tired almost every day like I have been at Camp Oasis all years previously!
3) We met some amazing kids and adults alike!
4) I actually took a nap each day. Each day!
5) I now speak with a British accent because well, 2 of my co-counselors were British and one was Irish! eh? Oh, and one of my co-counselors is from Rexburg! We grew up like 20 minutes away from each other! And we meet there? Crazy.
6) Collin had 1 returning camper of his from previously in his cabin! I didn't have any, but did see a couple of my old kids.
7) It was as cold in California as it was in Boise for 3 days!! What the??
8) I realized I didn't want to come home! I like living at camp! I was sad to come back to the real world.

9) I realized that I still don't like getting covered in chocolate syrup, molasses, paint, slime, and strawberry jam. And I realized I do still love dancing to Reach for the Stars under the firefighters' hosing us all off! (sorry that's so hard to explain. It was my IT moment!) And... Collin still looks good covered in all of the above-mentioned products. And I mean covered!

Anyway.... look out below for picture-mania. Don't bother if you don't care, but you may find some amusing. I'll keep the commentary to a minimum!
Also--I can't post any camper pics, so a lot of these have been cropped like crazy--sorry! But you get the idea. We have like 3 times more pictures than these but they all have campers. You just get to see adults!Ice cream and cake--seems to be the camp anthem this year. SO, so fun. I'm going to track down that song and teach you all the dance.
The Fast-Breakin' Lakers came and we watched a game! So cool!

No-hands spaghetti.... explains itself.

Collin's favorite headband

The theme was 12-Month Mayhem--it was serious mayhem! ha ha. Our first-night campfire was New Year's, and there was a counselor designed hay contest! Aine, on the right, won! The best part was that pretty much no other counselors did it so we looked soo cool.

Toga breakfast...
oops had to take that one out, didn't realize there were kids in it till now! Sorry. Just imagine!

No joke! My kids did this to me!

yet another makeover I received....

More no-hands spaghetti--with my girls Kim and Breezie!

Dude. Seriously. the hair. I spent more time looking like this than normal.
