So, back in June another piano teacher-friend and I planned to do a recital together this month. I didn't figure I'd have enough kids in town or ready to do one of my own so we decided to combine.
. . . Well, 2 months later and about 10 un-replied phone calls later, my friend had bailed just a week before the recital! Let's just say I had many tender mercies in getting it all together and having enough of my own students to still pull it off. It turned out to be GREAT--really. It was an experiment holding it in my backyard but I really liked it, and got a lot of comments from parents on how great it was also. I just wanted to post a couple of pics from it to document it IS possible to have a backyard piano concert! :)

It's good to see all your pics from your fun trips. So sad I couldn't see you while you were here. It sucks to work - on more than one level. Anyway, congrats on the run success. Tara and I are going to run the Top of Utah 1/2 marathon next year. Why don't you do it with us?
