When we got back from Memorial Day weekend, guess what was waiting for me . . .

That's right, addressed to Tonya Robertson, NCTM! {In case you were wondering=Nationally Certified Teacher of Music} I had heard from my mentor over the weekend that she got notice of my approval, but still! It was exciting! The whole process started in January. After letters of recommendation, copies of transcripts, verification of teaching experience, and lots of other paperwork, I got approved . . . then it was on to the 5-hour Certification Test. All essay questions--I wrote 20 pages!! But, it paid off . . . woo hoo! so, if you prefer, you can now address me as Tonya Robertson, NCTM. Just joking.
