I am finally getting around to blogging about the rest of Spring Break. I am really only doing this because I actually was able to do some fun things! I had been looking forward to Spring Break all through wrestling season, and some days it was really my saving grace thinking about getting a little time "away" The original plan was for me to go visit Tara alone for a few days, but it didn't really end up working out. But just having Collin home--which meant having an actual degree of freedom--was a great break for me!! I got to run errands in half the time it usually takes, workout without having to push a stroller the whole time, etc. etc.
One of the fun things I did was get out for my bud Lindy's birthday celebration! We met up at Chili's and had a great time (and too much chips and queso!!) afterwards Chandra and I went to The Hunger Games, which I loved beyond all reason. I really really liked it. I have read all the books a couple of years ago, and let's just say I re-read them after that and have been loving every minute of it! I wish I took a picture of us at the movie. sigh.
Collin and I loaded up the little tater tot and the fuzzy dog the next day and headed down to visit his mom. We stayed for 4 days, over conference weekend and Collin was able to go to the Sunday morning session, which was fun. Ashlyn was a champ and slept great and had a good time playing on Nana's stairs. Which was not a fun time for me.
I took a "day off" (this was my substitute for actually leaving for a couple of days, like I had mentioned, which was the original plan) and headed out to shop my little heart out (As much as my budget would allow!) I began at IKEA, which is right by Collin's mom's house although we never ever go. Loved it and got some cute stuff for the babykins. Then I headed up and met Tara at the new City Creek Center! Which was great, once we got parked, which I don't want to tell that story because it is embarrassing and something that belongs on Jay Walking. At least Tara and I amuse ourselves in our stupidity. Anyway, back to the cook new CCC. . . it was a typical mall of course but it looked so nice and it was fun to get to see temple square across the street. I did some damage at H & M and XXI... my usual favorites.
We ended our little partay with food at a super yummy bakery Tara introduced me to a few year ago when she used to live there in SLC, and finished up with some Tiramisu, which is becoming a tradition with us! Anyway, thanks for joining me to party, Tar. I actually drove down to Provo after that (which resulted in a freaking traffic jam that delayed me almost an hour) to visit Sam and Megan. And I think I already blogged about the rest, when we took Ashlyn swimming and blah blah. It was a fun week and I was sad to see it end. That said, summer break, which is what, 20 times longer (ok Collin just corrected my math and it's actually 12 not 20 so don't bother correcting me SAM) is right around the corner! Yahoo!

Haha, Sam probably WOULD have caught that.
