My mom and sistas came over for the Womens Fitness Celebration last weekend. It was so fun to have them all here! Even Tara came, though she has been busy getting ready for a wedding.
After we spent a couple of hours shopping the Womens Show, we of course had to continue the tradition of eating at Merritt's every time Tara is here. If you've ever visited us in Boise we have probably taken you there. You know, that really trashy place that never replaces their duct-taped seats, but serves super yummy scones and milkshakes?
That day was ACTUALLY Collin and my anniversary so this is our lone 5th anniversary picture.
And here we are pre-race! Actually, we didn't really race, technically. We all signed up for the competitive run since that is what we all originally planned to do. But Mom had an achille's heel injury so we just slid in with a different wave and walked. I say we didn't race technically because walking with my mom is like running a race. We practically had to jog to keep up with her. We got really good at weaving through walkers and strollers!
Our team name was FitWhits (my maiden name/all their last names still is Whittier), --Andrea came up with that one. Then I put some rad (yes, rad) nicknames on the sleeves. The only one I messed up on was Jodee's--I put it on upside down. oops. But anyway--the nicknames were as follows:

After the 5K we ate our tasty breakfasts and then did some shopping at Craft Warehouse and Target. Then had a delicious dinner at Old Chicago (my favorite) while watching the BSU Game of course, then we went home and watched Beaches! Classic!
It was a great girl time! Thanks for coming you guys! And Megan, you should come next year!

Looks like so much fun! What a life you guys have, always doing such adventurous things, and all we do is scope out single cows around Moscow :)!
