....okay, not really an era, but you old roommates from Utah State (and a select other friends/sisters who were close to me at the time) will know exactly what this shirt is! It was my special Christmas present from my roomies back in that good old freshman year of 2002. (WOW has it really been that long??) It once said "I Love Grandpa*". And yes, the * is important! Those of you who don't know what the heck I'm talking about... let me explain: I was madly in love with a creepy granola guy (looking back this is what I perceive him as, but did I at the time? heck no.) who lived behind us who we nick named "Grandpa" due to his being the ancient age of 25 and all of us being barely 18. But this legendary sweatshirt, when the bottom is flipped up, contains the answer to the *. Sorry to say, you'll never know who it was if you don't already know exactly who I'm talking about! ;) And by the way, I got over that crush, thank goodness. Though I did marry a guy way older than me, who I do call a grandpa sometimes!
RIP, I Love Grandpa* Sweatshirt. I finally threw it away last week. I know. Sad.
Thanks again, Em and Lauren.

NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! NOT THE GRANDPA SWEATSHIRT.
This is a sad day for all of us. Was Grandpa* really only 25?! We're now older than him? I remember him being like 47. At least.
I guess this means I'm Grandma.
I remember every time you would visit you would talk about Grandpa! And you showed me the sweatshirt and thought it was so awesome. But it IS funny to me that you married someone who is still almost that much older than you.
That is HILLLLARIOUS.
hahaah!! Tuna + Grandpa! I agree with Lauren, I think that makes us all Grandmas. An yes, I too ended up with someone older than Grandpa. heheh. RIP Grandpa* secret sweater. i shed a tear the day I threw away my "I love Zack Morris" sweater, which, by then, just read "Zack". Thanks for posting it. I love that year. Still one of the best college years ever.
