Anniversary #4

We have this great tradition for our anniversaries--for each one we do a letter of the alphabet. For example, our first anniversary we went to the Anniversary Inn, then #2 we went "Biking" in McCall (I know, that one was kind of a stretch), #3 we went to Cascade, and for #4 we went . . . Downtown! woohoo! It was kind of weird to go out on Thursday just because we usually don't and I usually have lessons right up until clogging. But it was a weird week with my group lessons and all, so it actually turned out perfectly. I had a rough second group of 10 teenagers so it was just what I needed to "get away" from real life for about 15 hours. We stayed at The Grove! This was all Collin's idea, he had made the reservations a while ago. It was really fun staying there, it is a nice place!

Collin took this.... I'm not the weirdo who takes pictures in elevators! j/k . . . I love you honey!

Collin also had a good time taking pictures from our 10th story window. It is a great view of the city, and for some reason it is so fascinating to just watch the cars driving by over and over.
We checked into the hotel and happened to have perfect timing in getting there right when The Office started-- so what do you think we did? Yep, watched it first even though we were starving. I love that show, it cheered me right up after a crazy day.

We went out to eat at P. F. Changs, one of my favorite places! We had a super-yummy meal including soup, appetizers, entrees and mini-desserts. We ate outside--it was perfect! (gotta love the self-taken picture also, keep in mind this was the best out of like 5!)

So we then headed up to the hottub and pool, and randomly ran into a guy I went to high school with! I guess his little sister was getting married the next day and there were tons of people from Idaho Falls staying in the hotel. It was so weird. Not people I knew very well anyway, but it was true, I saw like 10 familiar faces from IF throughout the next morning. CrAzY!!
We then headed to breakfast at another place that has fun history with us--Addie's. We didn't have too long before Collin had to be back to school (he had taken off a half-day, how sweet), but the timing was perfect. We ate at Addie's clear back when we had first started dating, I believe. It was fun to reminisce!
Thanks for such a great little "getaway" for year #4 honey! It was great to be with you!
