Since Collin was coaching in Vegas most of last week, I decided that it would be fun to have our own little Easter Dinner today! And I would have to say, I am quite impressed with myself in preparing this meal! We had delicious ham, salad, homemade mashed potatoes and rolls (okay, technically they were Rhodes rolls but those are my faaavorite!) and deviled eggs... and I even planned a special dessert of pound cake drizzled with this delicious chocolate syrup.
Well, we never did make it to dessert. Collin got SICK! He is probably throwing up right as I type this, poor guy. He seems to get food poisoning regularly about once a year, and I guess it is that time of year for him. Sure made me feel bad about my Easter dinner though! And it also pretty much spoiled what I was much looking forward too--the ham leftovers! Kinda kills all that when you spend 20 minutes scooping up bits of ham from the bathroom floor and out of the washer!! (gloved hands of course, but didn't make it any less disgusting!) Anyways, for the record I am FINE! And at least I got to enjoy the dinner. Although I really didn't think I'd spend my evening washing and re-washing towels and disinfecting the bathroom. :)
. . . We did have fun with some Easter festivities last night though!
We finally got to meet Brady and Amber's adorable little Bradyn! He is only 11 day sold! So cute. You can't really read it but his bib says "My First Easter" and his egg says "Bradyn." We are so happy for the Sibbetts! Congrats again!
We did some wicked awesome egg designs and some bootiful Easter sugar cookies! And had some tasty pizza and all around a fun night!
Just when I try to pose for a cute picture . . . sigh . . . :)
All 4 of us . . . there were other people there I just didn't get pictures! But it was fun because who knew that I know like, half of Brady's family? And Amber's best friend stopped in and guess what... we used to work together! Crazy! And Brady is even related to my old dance advisor, Biggs! Love it!
Anyways, fun Easter stuff. Thanks again Amber and Brady!
. . . and let's hope my poor husband survives the night!

Wish I could have seen your face as you were scraping out bits of ham from the bottom of your washer!
