Here you go

If you were wondering why I hadn't put anything up about my trip to IF, that's because I obviously didn't take any decent pictures. Although the one of me and Jodee is pretty cool. I did take tons of awesome trampoline pictures of Jodee and me with my phone but I can't figure out how to load those onto my computer, so ... oh well.
I did have a fun weekend though, although it has somewhat been tainted by some less-than-becoming comments made by certain family members who-will-not-be-named. But ANYWAY, I drove over separate from Collin since he took a bunch of wrestlers (State Freestyle). Saturday I took Andrea to Hymn Festival at 8:00 am! Not my favorite time of day! She did great though. Then I went to lunch with Kaylin and Eli, which was very entertaining and I always love to catch up with my dear friend. Then I spent some time at a couple craft stores looking for stuff to make a little menu calendar (will post when it's done), then hung out with the fam the rest of the afternoon. It was WEIRD being there without Tara and Cory! I think it wasn't any better because Andrea was sick with strep so she really wasn't exactly a party to be around (not to be NEGATIVE or anything :).
I did help a little with yard work. Just a little though. Like, I picked up like 10 sticks and put them in a trash bag. I made sure my dad got that on camera.
The yard work was a hilarious adventure in its own.... and also a great tragedy. Cory is apparently the only person who knows how to move their trailor (trailer?) out from the back yard, so when Alex and Dad attempted it.... it poked a hole in it! Sad, sad. It really is a nice trailor, and my dad's pride and joy. Somehow Jodee got the blame, although she was sitting on the other side of the lawn in a lounge chair reading a book . . . ?
Then Dad and Alex attempted to pull out a bush with a towing rope. First the rope broke, then the suburban almost broke down, and finally, the bush came free. For us girls watching all this it was very very funny, but to the boys it wasn't. So I won't say any more. (but I'm laughing right now!)
THEN Saturday night we headed over to Bonneville County Jr. Miss. No offense to any of my friends who have done this before, but MAN that was hilarious! Hilarious and looong. It went from 7-11. Too long in my opinion. We were there because originally Andrea was going to be dancing as the intermission entertainment with her clogging team, but due to the strep she stayed home but we went anyway, since the tickets were already purchased. It really was fun to watch all the talents (well most of them) and little dances. Oops, I mean production numbers. But the part where I had to l bend over in my seat to keep from everyone around me knowing that I was laughing so hard tears were streaming down my face . . . was the interview! I won't bother explaining but lets just say I never thought those would be answers to those questions. NOt that I don't think I'd be just as nervous in that situation, but between the actual answers and the looks on the girls' faces after they said them (basically thinking "did that really just come out of my mouth?") was just plain awesome.
To wrap up . . . Sunday was a nice relaxing day, and Collin and I were able to stop at Grandpa's grave site on our way out of town. I hadn't been to it since the funeral so it was nice to finally go see it. It's funny how many memories were brought back going there.
On the way home I studied almost the entire time for the National Certification Test... which I took Monday! 4 hours, 20 pages of essays, and 2 finger-blisters later, I am hopefully a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music! I should find out in 6-8 weeks.
peace out!

Send the picture as a message. Instead of a phone number do your entire email address. That is how mine works. They are not the best pictures, but oh well! See you tomorrow? We are helping 1-5 at CHS! Holla!

Seeing you with a garbage sack and only picking up 10 sticks with suburban behind you reminds me of our infamous day of hiding in the suburban during a service project and then having your dad drive us home without knowing! haha ...if only we had left the door open! It was fun getting together (or as you put it "entertaining") next time I will leave Eli home!! :)

Ok, that was funny. I think Cory is keeping the "trailer-moving-info" classified so that he will still be needed when he gets home and has somewhere to crash. Unlike when Sam came home and your family had moved and he no longer had a room.... Hmm, just something to ponder.
