I think Collin is one of those teachers that all the kids think are really cool--or else really weird!! Homecoming was this past week and you know how they do all that dress-up theme stuff all week, well he always loves getting into the festivities. So I thought I would share a couple of the outfits Collin wore to school last week.
Wednesday was Super-hero day and we came up with this rad costume at like midnight the night before. I laughed so hard at that stupid mustache (drawn by yours truly, of course) that he HAD to do it again the next day at school! Collin says that "Super Señor"'s super-powers are: talking circles around people in Spanish, flying from desk to desk helping students, saving someone from drowning, and, if needed, helping to clean up big messes.
Could YOU take learning Spanish seriously with this guy teaching it to you??
Thursday was pirate day and if you know Collin you know he will never pass up a good opportunity to dress like a pirate. The best part is his removable tooth--it totally freaks the kids out! He says they can't even pay attention to what he is saying, all they do is stare at his mouth and wonder if he really is missing a tooth or how the heck he got it to look so realistic! So he can't keep his tooth out for long. But the rest of the outfit more than suffices for pirate day anyway, if you ask me.
