Wrestling Update

I've been meaning to put up wrestling scores and stuff about the team. . . but I have to be honest that I haven't kept close enough track and . . . ahem. . . there hasn't really been much to brag about this year! (everyone has a building year)
Tiger-Grizz was this past weekend and Collin's team finished in 21st place (out of 32). They had one champion--their heavyweight, a senior who's been having a good year. Collin has a pretty young team this year--he graduated 11 of his 14 starters this past spring. This year he has been spending more time teaching basic techniques than doing the hardcore conditioning/drilling that more experienced wrestlers do. He's got some great assistant coaches and his team full of cute little guys with lots of potential. I think they're really lucky to have such a talented, dedicated, personable coach. Coaches Carlisle, Robertson and Blue--a late night dinner in Idaho Falls

I spent most of the weekend with my mom. I love catching a ride over to IF for Tiger-Grizz because it means I get a break from watching wrestling 24/7 like at other tournaments! :) Mom and I had a lot of fun, and I was able to see a few other members of my family too.

Having a good beginning team this year just means he'll have a "kick butt" team in a couple of years!
