Last night we received a barrage of texts telling us about President Hinckley's passing away. When Collin got the first one and read it to me it was a strange moment. I didn't believe it at first, but of course, who would joke about that. President Hinckley has been the prophet since I was 10 years old, and he's been the one leading the church through the most important years of our lives so far. We have always loved listening and seeing him speak, as well as reading more wisdom and guidance from him. He has been a phenomenal leader for the church and I'm sure the love we feel for him is shared by many. It is bittersweet to see him pass away because we are no longer able to enjoy his wonderful words of wisdom, his strong testimony, and his sense of humor, but we are so happy to know that through the plan of salvation he is able to be with his sweet wife again. It will definitely be an adjustment being led by a new prophet but Heavenly Father plans these things for a reason and I'm sure we will continue to be guided by a man called of God. We will sure miss President Hinckley though!
