Lucy hated me so bad because I put that Santa hat on her. I think it smooshed her ears so she couldn't hear, because she was so freaked out. I thought it was hilarious.Anyway, I took like 300 pictures. Of course my camera battery died right in the middle. I didn't have high expectations in the first place, like getting a 10-month-old and a dog to pose for a picture was going to happen. But my mom bought Ashlyn this cute little elf outfit so I figured I should try to get a good Christmas picture before the holiday is over. I thought I would post some of the outtakes.
I gave Ash that candy cane just to keep her amused, once she found the long end she really started enjoying it. Would I consider this her first candy cane? I guess so, even though the wrapper was still on.

Lucy finally got the hat off for good and immediately started chewing on it.
Then when I took away the candy cane, all of a sudden my camera started to look reeeaaally interesting.
Can I play with that, Mom?

Like we talked about earlier this week, I DIE every time I read posts like this! They make me laugh so hard! I read them aloud to Paul, but he just doesn't get our humor! WHY AREN'T WE THE FREAKING COMEDIANS??! Haha.
