We went down to Utah this past weekend to visit with family, but mainly because my clogging team competed in the Grand National Championships at Lagoon. (ooh, fancy name!)
Friday night McKinzie, Darby, and Savannah all played in a piano recital, which was a lot of fun to listen to. They each did great, and I always like going to piano recitals anyways, not only to listen but because I like to see other teachers' styles.
Savannah, Darby, and McKinzie looking cute after the recital
Seriously, we have the cutest nieces and nephews ever! This is Aiden, I can't believe how big he is getting! He was born the year Collin and I got married!
Okay, this is not a joke, that is our car, and yes, I locked the keys in the trunk. I thought Collin was going to strangle me for a minute, but it turned out alright. We happened to be like 10 feet away from a fire station! Collin headed over there to see if they could help . . . It was so funny because I was fretting about how we'd get them out and that we'd have to pay a bunch of money to a locksmith, when Collin came back from the fire station with these three guys all joking and laughing together. They were so happy to have something to do! They had Collin time them! It took them 1:46 to get the door unlocked. It was so funny, and I had to take a picture while their backs were turned so they wouldn't think we did it on purpose or something. Thank goodness for nice law enforcement in Utah! (I know not everyone would agree with me on that.)
Yay! The Adult Advanced/ Championship Team from Boise Cloggers! We did so great. I danced harder than ever (we all did, I think!) and was wiped out after each dance. It payed off because we got 1st place in both our dances!
Granted, we were only competing against one other team each time, but well, we did better!!
Scottie and Aiden, Collin supervised them at Lagoon for like 2 hours! I was impressed, they are WILD! (Wild but SO cute and fun!)
Tara, Jodee, Mom, and me. It was so fun that they came down to spend the day at Lagoon also! We didn't plan it, but we turned out to be the "green squad. . . " 3 of us were wearing green shirts! (DORKY!)
Darby, Lana, and McKinzie, waiting in line for some scary ride in which I screamed my head off.
I thought I'd put up our dances, for those of you who didn't get to come watch or haven't seen us dance yet. You get extra credit if you can identify me! :) Thanks Collin, for coming along and for being the video man! Also, the sound is totally off, so sorry about that.
