Collin's first day as the Human Relations Manager at Aardema!

We've been going to free lunch at the middle school a few times this summer (and the park too, although we can walk to the middle school)... I've had fun having little lunch dates with my two little buddies.
My early birthday present... I am SO excited! Hopefully I will have an "after" picture to post before the end of the year! ;)
A few friends and I have been getting together once a week for some fun screen-free activities for our kids (that we know we'd never be motivated enough to do on our own), it has been fun! This week I was in charge and we had a tin foil boat contest and a fizzy foaming toy car wash. Can't beat playing with shaving cream!

We went camping! A quick one-nighter and Andrea came! It was definitely an adventure, Elan made it interesting but we all survived and had a pretty good time! Ashlyn really loved it. It was a COLD night and we knew that going into it, but we didn't have a lot of scheduling options so we just tried to prepare! We were still cold at night and the kids, Andrea and I spent the early morning sitting in the heated car while Collin got the fire going! :)

Another of our fun little friend get togethers.. the kids made their own ice cream (no one was patient enough to shake it with ice until it really froze so it was more like soup!). Elan LOVED it!
