My brother Cory and his wife Hayley just had their first baby--a sweet little girl named Adalyn Jo! I had enough free time due to some changes in my teaching schedule that Ashlyn and I made a quick trip over to IF to see the new little family. I'm so glad we did, because otherwise we wouldn't have gotten to see her until she was 2 months old! Adalyn was just one week old when we were there visiting, crazy! She was such a sweet, cute little cuddler! I tried to hold her as much as could.....to hold me over until next time I would be there, ha ha! (thanks Hayley!) It was super cute to see Cory being all "dad"ish! And Hayley is such a great mom already. We're so happy for them!

| Not sure why this picture is all wide looking?? weird. Anyway, Ashlyn was a huge trooper! Actually she was just plain great! I never even had to turn on a DVD for her, on either car trip! Can you believe that! She was happy just talking to herself, sleeping, and reading books. |
