I ordered Christmas cards 3 weeks ago but they apparently got lost in the mail... so this is what I would have been sending you!
Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas! We are thankful for the Christmas season and the real reason for all the celebration this Christmas season!
Collin is in his 6th year teaching Spanish and working as head wrestling coach at Centennial high school. He will graduate from U of I in May with a Masters in Educational Administration. He plans to continue working as a coach/teacher for a while, but will eventually probably become an Athletic Director. He's also the second counselor in young men. Besides that he has been super busy with other wrestling extras, like freestyle, K-5, and other programs.
Tonya is still teaching 30 piano students and doing some freelance accompanying for various jr. highs and high schools around Boise. She has also been busy with various volunteer organizations, working as the secretary for the local music teacher's association, and also working with the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation. She is the primary chorister and one of the ward organists. We got a puppy in February, a little miniature schnauzer named Lucy. That definitely was a lot of work for a while, but we love her!
Our big news is that we are hoping to adopt! We started the process with LDS Family Services last spring and are just about finished with the application process. We should be approved by the new year. We are very excited and hope you'll check out our blog (and our profile when it's up). We hear it's good to spread the word! Our blog address is:
We hope the holidays find you healthy and happy! We love you!
Love, Tonya and Collin
