Collin and I went to the Dave Matthews Band concert last week! It was so great. I got the tickets clear back in February, so we have been looking forward to it for a while! I don't have any cool pictures of the show to post because I forgot my phone and Collin's phone is so crappy we couldn't figure out how to get it to save the pictures we took. Oh well. It was awesome! I think the thing I loved the most (not being a hard-core, die-hard, #1 fan of DMB in the first place, though I do love their music and have a few of their CDs) was that seriously, Dave Matthews sounds just as good if not better in person as he does recorded. That guy can sing! Loved it. They put on a super good show. The funny thing was, it was on a Tuesday night, the first week Collin was back in school. It felt weird to be out so late on a school night! I almost said it to Collin and caught myself and thought--noooo! Am I really so old that I now think things like "jeeze it's late to be out on a school night . . . "??

Man, I guess I'm really old because I have said that same thing for the last year! Okay...so maybe it's just mainly during tax season that I say that. :)

I have never seem him/them in person, but I am sure he was really good. That's my favorite thing about performers in concert too, when they actually sound as good as they do on the CD. I'm glad he didn't disappoint!
