Collin surprised me with a fun little trip to the . . . 
It was great! I think the first time in my adult memory of going to a rodeo was actually the same Spring Break Collin and I had our first kiss... ;) so they are somewhat new to me (only 7 years ago!) and I think they're fun! Plus neither of us really knows much of anything about rodeo so we sit and laugh about what we don't understand... including what half the people there are wearing.
I am not a horse person in the least, but if I was I would totally want to be a Rodeo Queen! It looks like so much fun to ride around in a pretty sparkly outfit! They are my favorite!
I was experimenting with my new camera trying to take some good action shots but didn't get any great ones. Collin hates this part, the barrel racing. (hmm, could that have to do with the fact that it's the only event women participate in??) We realized that should always be when he goes to get some treats. And the part I should always leave during is that cattle roping--where they get its head and then tie up its feet! I HATE that part! I can't even watch. I checked my email during that part. I know it's harmless and just part of the sport, blah blah blah, but I always feel so bad for those little baby cows who get jerked around and then have to lay there all helpless. I know it's silly, but we decided from now on I will go get treats during that part!

FUN!!! I miss the Caldwell night rode...and Boise for that matter. Hope things are going great! You two are so cute!!
