Super Puppy!

We have the best puppy in the world. Seriously! Not only is this little face irresistible, but here are some cold hard facts, which I hear can be pretty rare in little pups such as Lucy:
1) she sleeps through the night! No joke. 11-7, no potty breaks or anything. (the vet said that was amazing! I agree, and I ain't complaining!!)
2) She has the most sweetest little puppy face ever.
3) She already knows to come when we whistle. She'll run right over as fast as her little legs can carry her!
4) She loves to snuggle. . . when she's tired. (which believe me is not all the time by any means!)

5) This is a big one. . . tonight I left her home for about 4 1/2 hours when I went to work at a gymnastics meet. I was too worried to leave her in her crate because I didn't think she'd be able to make it without needing to potty. SO I papered up the bathroom, put her in there with some toys, and hoped for the best! . . . . . . . . . hours later when I got home---she hadn't "eliminated" in there at all!! Is that amazing or what! I thought I'd be picking up poop and cleaning up pee for sure. ROCK ON LUCY!

I took Lucy to her first vet appointment today. We went to the Humane Society. It is a nice place! I had never been out there before. They were so nice and everyone thought Lucy was the cutest thing. (which she is of course.) Lucy was very brave and got de-wormed and her first shots. She weighs 5.8 pounds! Collin thought she weighed like 10! hello!!

When we drove to the vet I felt like a nervous mom taking my baby to the doctor! DORK!! I was hoping nothing would be wrong with my little baby! And sure enough she was checked out very healthy and such a good puppy!

We are having so much fun! Any suggestions on lessening the biting on us humans would be helpful..... but other than that Lucy's a riot and also a sweetie.

and the vet told me we need to expose her to as many new people as possible, so if you want to come over and play with her come on over!!
