It's really official...

Well for those of you who are wondering, we really did buy the house. We signed yesterday (and wasted a couple of trees in the process), and have been working on moving in ever since. We had some help moving some small furniture and lots of boxes yesterday, but we've got the big team of strong guys :) coming over tonight to help with the rest. It's SO crazy that we're homeowners now! It's so exciting, but also a little scary because now when I walk through the house and see things that might need to be repaired... we have to do it! It's a new concept to me, and I'm sure we'll learn tons in the next few months as we figure everything out. But we have been SO blessed in the whole process--we got an amazing interest rate on our loan for being first-time homebuyers combined with our awesome credit :). We've been really stressed about finding a fridge because we needed one for the house and have hardly had any time to shop around--and Collin's friend who helped move the other family out of the house called to tell us they would leave us the fridge if we needed it! So that was another great blessing, because we don't have to worry about that for now. We still have to get a washer and dryer, but we're going to be out of town for the next 2 weeks anyway so that will probably be put at the bottom of the list right now.

Anyway, a few details...it's a 3-bedroom, 2-bath, has a 2-car garage and big backyard . . . It's in a culdesac off Maplegrove and Ustick. It is SO SAD that we had to leave our ward, and believe me, I have shed more than a few tears over leaving our dear friends there, and my awesome young women. . . but I guess life takes us in directions we don't always want to go, and houses in our ward are so outrageously priced we wouldn't be able to afford one for like 10 years. Once we get all this craziness under control I'll definitely be posting more pics, but I've got to get everything packed!!! More later
