Thank you so much Lindy for being our "photographer!" I HATE not having a camera right now! Lindy saved the day! :)

As you probably already know, I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis in November of 1999--the beginning of my sophomore year of high school. After a little over a year of dealing with serious issues due to this incurable disease, including multiple hospital stays, missing a lot of school, taking a lot of very strong immunosuppressant drugs as well as steroids, and a life-threatening blood clot that resulted in 8 surgeries on my leg..... I finally had my colon removed at Primary Children's hospital in SLC in December of 2000. Life hasn't been all roses since then, but it's true that even on my bad days I am still feeling better than I would be if I still had uc.
I have spent a lot of my time over the past 7 years working for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation to help improve hope for a better life for those dealing with these devastating diseases. I was so thankful to some of our bestest friends who came to walk with us to support raising awareness and to help find a cure! |

| The babies--they aren't looking like babies so much any more!! Kyra, Miles, Bryce & Ashlyn |
 |
| Even little Lucy got a snazzy blue boa--that was our team's special "thing" this year! Lucy HATED it. Oh well, she was still forced to wear it the whole time! |

| I love these girls. Why aren't we like, hugging?? :) |

Thanks for always thinking of us when you do these kind of things. I am so glad that you are healthy (mostly)! I didn't know you back when you had all your troubles, but I am grateful that you made it through so we could meet! :) And funny how we are all just standing there all awkward in that picture!! ha!ha!
