March MADNESS!

Every year since we have been married Collin and I have filled out March Madness brackets. We always make up some fun bet where one of us gets something out of it if we win. And I'm pretty sure that every year I get on here and complain about how I am never doing it again, because I lose every year, which is not surprising because I could really care less about NCAA basketball while a certain someone I'm married to follows it closely and of course always has a huge advantage.

WEEELLLLL.... this year, I wasn't even going to bet. I really could care less, like I said. And it's annoying to lose every year! Even though, most years Collin has been nice enough to not really follow through with whatever the bet was.. probably because he realizes it's a rigged game. So I told Collin I wasn't even going to fill one out! Which, he didn't really care about anyway. But then he left for St. Louis and left me a bunch of cute little notes hidden in different places all over the house. (did I mention how cute he is?!) And the first one was attached to an empty bracket! It was the day before the MADNESS started and he said, QUOTE: "Let's fill these out for fun, if I lose I will clean the bathrooms for a month." So, since I didn't even have anything riding on the bet this time (I know that makes me sound like a jerk and well, I have no defense.) I went ahead and filled mine out. Totally random, as usual. Although I usually pick more upsets than him and usually that is my downfall . . . BUT NOT THIS YEAR BABY! As any of you who did March Madness know, it was an insane tournament! A bunch of 1-seeds were out the first round! And I have them to thank for..... WINNING! My first time, ever! I beat Collin, and by a lot! It was awesome. I was glad I filled it out, even though, I know, I was kinda lame about it.

And, Collin cleaned the bathrooms (for THE FIRST time in our marriage, not kidding here) last Saturday. It took him 1.5 hours. I would have teased him but it was so nice of him I didn't. I am planning on cleaning them this week so I am not really going to make him carry out his full punishment, but still it was pretty great! I should have gotten a picture of him with the toilet brush in hand (to document since it will probably never happen again) but didn't. Oh well. And that is the tale of March Madness!
